Solastalgia is the cousin to nostalgia. Whereas nostalgia is a yearning for something once experienced, solastalgia is more nuanced; the feeling of being in a place while simultaneously holding the understanding that the enjoyment may never be felt again, as that place is in an evolving state of entropy due to climate disaster.

AGSMU is a piece created for day 3 of genuary, prompt "Glitch". 10,000 shapes move in wave-like motion, intersecting and leaving trails, to produce a relaxing but dynamic motion piece.

Over 1000 Blóms were minted with Gen.art.

Why is the website a little different every time I refresh?

A big thing that makes generative art unique is that part of the process is not in the artist's hands. For me, that means I use random numbers a bunch in my work.

Case in point: everytime this website is loaded, it chooses a new image (below, left) and finds the most vibrant color. Then a color scheme is built using that color, shown on the right. Every visit gets a different image and a different color theme. It's always changing!
